I am a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Department of Mathematics, University of Alicante, where I lead the research project RYC2022-035966-I funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the European Union.

My work is in the analysis of partial differential equations — Hamilton-Jacobi equations, nonlinear parabolic and elliptic problems, transport equations and conservation laws — and their applications in optimal control, inverse problems and calculus of variations. Building on this, I develop numerical methods for PDEs based on neural networks, and I also work on image analysis for single-particle cryo-electron microscopy.

Before Alicante, I was a Research Associate at Cambridge Image Analysis (University of Cambridge), and held postdoctoral positions at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universidad de Deusto working with Enrique Zuazua on the ERC-funded DyCon project. I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, France, under the supervision of Philippe Souplet.
